Parish Nurse Program at Milette Manor 

The Parish Nurse Program at Milette Manor is looking for special volunteers to staff an exciting new ministry. The Edward V. Karg Day Away Program will provide a safe, loving and stimulating environment for those suffering from early stages of Alzheimer’s disease and other related dementias. A full day of activities will be planned and facilitated by staff. Volunteers are needed for 3-4 hours a week (or month) to provide an Alzheimer’s participant with one-on-one care and supervision. Training will be provided. This is a wonderful opportunity to give an Alzheimer patient’s caregiver a well deserved day of respite. Greater Nashua Interfaith Hospitality Network

For the opening of our day center and the start up of the Greater Nashua Interfaith Hospitality Network volunteers and items are needed before November 7th!

• Install light over kitchen sink (Light Needed)
• Install 2 Fire Extinguishers (1 on each floor - Extinguishers Needed)
• Kitchen Table and Chairs
• Hair Dryers
• Microwave & Cart
• Towel Racks
• Shower Curtain & Non-Slip Bathtub Mats
• Window Curtains & Mini-Blinds/Shades throughout
• Clothes Hangers
• Lockable Medicine Holder
• Lockable Cigarette & lighter holder
• Kitchen and Laundry Supplies
• Waste Baskets
• Laundry Baskets
• Hamper and/or Laundry Bags
• Age Appropriate Car Seats
• Changing Table 
• Baby Bathtub
• High Chairs
• Play Pen & Portacribs
• Blankets, Sheets, Pillow Cases
• Bumper pads for portacribs
• Family Room Furniture (2 sleeper sofas already donated)
• Vacuum Cleaner
• Battery Alarm Clocks
• Paper Products (Napkins, Kleenex, Toilet Tissue, Paper Towels)
• Baby Food and Formula
• Disposable Diapers (all sizes/for all ages)
• Padlock w/keys for Exterior Storage Building 
• Toys for Outside Play Area
• 2 Line Phone and extension phones (or donate cost $260-> $340 w/2 ext)
• Zip Drive w/Zip Disks for Backing up data on computer (or willing to donate monetary value to purchase at cost)

We also need Day Care Center Volunteers. Please Note that the Day Center is open 7 Days per Week from 7am to 5pm!
