Nashua Area Interfaith Council
Minutes
April 6, 2005

The April meeting of NAIC was held at Temple Beth Abraham. The meeting was opened with prayer led by Sharon Spivak. Breakfast followed.

Faith communities attending were: Nashua Presbyterian Church, Church of Christ Science, Habitat for Humanity, Community Church of Hudson, Temple Beth Abraham, First Baptist of Nashua, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, St. Joseph Hospital, Southern New Hampshire Medical Center, Arlington Street Methodist, Main Street Methodist, Souhegan Hospice, First Baptist of Hudson, Pilgrim Congregational, Universalist Unitarian, Christ the King Lutheran, Emmaus Institute, and Good Shepherd Episcopal.

Sharon Spivak shared the recognition given to NAIC at the March New Hampshire Council of Churches. NAIC was recognized as the outstanding Interfaith Organization is the state. A framed certificate was passed around.

Future Meetings:

A moment of silence was held in recognition of Pope John Paul II's death on April 1.

The program for the meeting was "How do we address God through prayer?" Thoughts were shared by a number of the attendees.

The meeting was adjourned at 9 AM with prayer by Sharon Spivak.
